The Paraffin Embedding Center TES Valida consists of high quality material and modern technology within the individual units. According to the well-known and popular principal, the TES Valida combines a thermal, dispenser und cooling unit to one working station that supports laboratories in regards of performance, flexibility and efficiency.
The operating elements are easy-to-reach and use. Debris, residues and other impurities can easily be cleaned off to keep the work place sanitarily impeccable at all times. Additionally, each unit features a timer function for individual configuration.
The lower part of the thermal unit contains a large paraffin basin with a stainless steel tray that can be taken out. The basin is closed with a slideable lid that brings additional storage space on top and supports temperature stability within the paraffin basin. Overall, the paraffin basin has a volume of up to 2 liters.
In the upper back of the thermal unit, embedding molds can be heated inside a spacious chamber. It can be heated to up to +70 °C. For conviniently filling and emptying the prewarming chamber, the lid can be locked in open position.
With the TES Valida Dispenser Unit, efficiency in the laboratory can easily be boosted. It consists of the indepentely working areas that enable one simple working step.
The Unit features an ergonomically designed working plate and a large paraffin tank.The dispenser itself is positioned in the middle above the working plate and allows individual paraffin dosage. It can be used manually or with a convenient foot switch. Below the working plate is a basin for collecting excess paraffin with a total volume of 2 liters.
With a size of 300 x 270 mm, the working plate offers enough space for palmrest, making the work with this unit more comfortable.
In the working plate’s front area is a square peltier spot that reaches a temperature of -5 °C. The back area features connections and heat spots for six forceps that reach +90 °C, keeping the forceps ready and in comfortable reach. Furthermore, the dispenser unit comes with an adjustable cold light lamp that allows perfect illumination of the working plate. All these features combined make the process of paraffin embedding quick and easy.
Settings of the paraffin tank and working plate can be individually adjusted. With the integrated weekly timer, start and ending times for both areas can be set up to a week in advance, saving time in preparation be having the unit ready when starting work, and supporting the safety in the laboratory by turning it off at a designated time.
The Cooling Unit features a powerful cooling aggregate that reaches down to -15 °C. To give users complete control over the cooling process, the current temperature is constantly displayed.
The spacious working plate is made of stainless steel with a size of 500 x 260 mm. It offers space for cooling more than 100 paraffin blocks simultaneously, which is a great benefit for laboratories with high throughput.
The Small Cooling Unit was designed for laboratories with various demands or less available space. Other than the standard size, the Small Cooling Unit measures only 360 mm in width, reaching a working temperature of -10 °C. Although the cooling plate of this unit is smaller, it still offers enough space to fit up to 80 paraffin blocks at once.
