Multi Stainer-Glass Coverslipper Combination
The Multi-Stainer Glass Coverslipper Combination TCA 44-720 offers complete automation of the staining process up to the finished slide. The device combines the multi-stainer TST 44+ C with the automatic glass coverslipping machine ACS 720. The resulting device is characterized by high flexibility and throughput as well as excellent quality and process reliability.
Due to the modular structure, it is no longer neccessary to manually transfer the slide basket to the glass coverslipper. This is time-saving for the user, and also optimizes the entire procedure of slide processing. The ACS 720 can cover up to 400 slides per hour.
The ACS 720 is available in combination with the following TST 44+ models:

– TST 44.200+ C Programmable Multi-Stainer with Transfer Station and Drying Chamber
The ACS 720 automatic glass coverslipper works reliably and quickly at a consistently high level of quality. The stained slide is transported from the basket to the mounting medium by use of a turntable solution, developed by MEDITE, where it is applied automatically. In the next step, the coverglass is attached. Then the slide is returned to the same slide basket. To prevent the dispenser needle from drying out, it automatically returns to a xylene reservoir when the process is finished.
By automating the coverslipping process, time and effort needed can be significantly reduced.
MEDITE mounting media and special coverglass for coverslipping machines are recommended for use with the ACS 720. Damaged coverglass is recognized by the device. The processed tissue samples are covered smoothly and without bubbles for a reliable diagnosis and an archiving period.
