The Tissue Floatation Bath TFB 35 is an LED-illuminated, rectangular stretching bath for paraffin sections that has been tried and tested in the routine of everyday laboratory work. The central component is the removable glass tray, under which a LED light strip is located. The light come from the rear edge under the glass tray, ensuring excellent visibility of the paraffin sections on the water surface.

The glass tray of the TFB 35.000 has a volume of 1.5 liters that can be easily removed and also cleaned in the dishwasher. A second model, the TFB 35.500, has a higher glass tray with a capacity of 2.8 liters.

In addition to a removable glass tray, the TFB 35 has a heated work surface on the front. It is coated with a resistant black plastic and offers enough space to put down slides for drying.

The temperature is set and controlled by a digital controller. To ensure optimal temperature control, the TFB 35 has a temperature sensor that is immersed in the glass tray and constantly measures the water temperature.

A matching lid, which ensures temperature stability and protection against dirt when not in use, is available separately.
