MCP Cassette Printer

Printing is the easiest way for long-lasting labelling of embedding cassettes. With the MCP Cassette Printer and its UV laser printing technology, embedding cassettes can be labeled super-fast with a durable inscription in batches or single.
The MCP Cassette Printer comes with templates that can be directly edited via touch screen. Data can also be shared via connection to existing information systems (LIS/HIS/PIS). Up to 15 cassettes can be printed per minute. The current print process can be monitored and paused or canceled if neccessary.

Printed information is particularly durable and prevents errors caused by illegible manual markings. Using UV laser printing technology eliminates regular costs that usually arise with ink printing, such as the costly replacement of print heads or refilling consumables (e.g. ink cartridges, ribbons). Not only does this reduce the utility expenses significantly, there is also no risk of ink-related errors such as smudging, untimely color fading, ink blackouts or else.

The large model MCP 450 Cassette Printer magazine is easy to load and can hold a capacity of up to 75 cassettes per slot. This arrangement offers great flexiblity by loading up to six different types or colors of cassettes (one kind per slot). For laboratories with a lower throughput, a smaller model with only one magazine MCP 075 Cassette Printer is also available.

The output tray on the front of the MCP Cassette Printer fits up to 120 cassettes. Sorted by the concept of first in – first out, the first printed cassette is put in the first row of the tray while the following cassettes come out are sorted in rows of chronological order. This sorting allows printing to continue while finished cassettes can already be taken out. A second output tray is included to continue the process while the first one can be removed when complete.
