In order to control the further spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, active infections need to be identified rapidly and accurately. This requires safe test methods of little expenditure of time and money. The SureScreen COVID-19 rapid test meets these requirements and delivers a qualitative yes / no result within just 15 minutes. In combination with antibody tests, this gives a clear result on the patient’s infection status.
Ideal for testing employees in the company
Our COVID-19 antigen test is carried out as a smear from the front of the nose (2 – 2.5 cm) or the throat. In combination with a buffer solution, the smear is placed on the test cassette, which uses test strips to show the result after five to 15 minutes. Thanks to its very high sensitivity and specificity, the test achieves a total agreement of 99% with laboratory PCR tests (sensitivity: 96.3%, specificity: 99.3%).
